This is the card I made for my eldest son when he turned 13 last week. Ever since I bought the Celebrating foxes-stamp from Whiff of Joy he has said he wanted this on his birthdaycard.
Since he turned 13 I had to put this number on the card. I also put some wise words on the card.
This is the back of the card.
This is the back or maybe the inside.
This is how the card looks fully opened from one side...
...and the other side.
This is how it looks from the top.
The reason for making a card like this was that I'm kind of tired of making the usual 6" square cards, plus I wanted to make a quicker card. Hehe! It really took me hours to finish the card, because suddenly I had 6 pages to decorate, not only 4!! But it was fun to make it and my son was happy.
Someone ordered a card from me today, and he wants to pick up the card tomorrow. That means I have to make the card now! So off I go! To the craftsroom!
Some good friends of ours celebrated their new home with a big party for the friends who helped them when they moved. We all gave them some money to buy art for their white walls. I was the lucky one making the card to put the money and the card inside.
The little white house and the trees are stamps I received free when I bought a magazine. They were perfect for this project!
This is the inside of the card, with the card in the pocket.
This is the back of the card.
This is the card and a message explaining the intended use of the money.
On the back of the card we all signed our names so they can remember who gave them this gift. :)
Today's another wet day here where I live. That means wet dogs. I'm kind of tired of eight wet paws to dry, but it seems like there's gonna be more wet paws to dry in the days to come. *sigh*
I'm really looking forward to having a crop with some good friends tonight. We are always having a blast together.
We have now come to sketch #50 on Just Christmas and Birthdaycards' challenge blog. It's amazing how time flies when you're having fun, I really have enjoyed every sketch and every card I've made using all those sketches. And the really best part is that my birthdaycard-box is full and I have almost covered my whole need for christmascard this year (and we're still in November!).
Sadly we've had to say goodbye to some great cardmakers from the design team lately, but we are lucky to welcome three new ladies. Hop over to Just Christmas and Birthdaycards' challenge blog and say hello to the lucky ladies winning the DT-call, Melissa, Andrea and Georgia!!
I know I have had some busy weeks and haven't had the energy or time to post some new cards here on my blog. But I have made some cards, so hopefully I'll have some time to post those cards the next few days.
Finally, here is the card I made for Just Christmas and Birthdaycards ongoing challenge. I've just been too busy to post it here on my blog. Sorry for the delay, but there is still time to enjoy making a card with Karin's sketch.
I've used a digistamp we were sponsored with, and this is my first time using a digistamp. I don't think my printer uses ink that is waterproof. When I put some glitterglue on the white sashing the black lines started to "bleed". Yay!
With the new blog layout I've got some problems moving the pictures after I've posted them so this one was kind of "stuck" to the bottom here. :)
I hope you all will have a great day. I'm off to work soon and today I have to work late. Will be home approx. 21.30 Hrs.
